Water Damaged iPod. Help?

well the zif one goes from zif to a laptop drive format. then you need a excloser to have the laptop version go to usb

You're right, it does go to a 2.5" laptop connection, what a bad design. You don't necessarily need an enclosure though, in fact I don't know if you would even be able to connect that contraption to an enclosure. You can get 44-pin to 40-pin converters that will just connect right to your motherboard.

It can plug into either the standard IDE hard drive or laptop hard drives.

So.... All I need is the NIF adapter (the $30 one) And the adapter I already have, right?
