Modding and rebuild is now complete. I'm very happy with the new waterloop. I'll betaking some more pictures this evening, but atm I'm playing with voltage and clock speeds. The temps are fantastic!

Spec is as follows:

ASUS ROG Maximus IV Extreme-Z68
Intel Sandybridge i7 2600K @ 5.1Ghz
2x GTX 580's SLI OC'd 1000-1900-2200
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM @ 1600Mhz
Coolermaster UCP 1100w PSU
2 x Samsung Spinpoint F3 HDD's
Corsair Obsidian 800D case
Samsung Blu Ray drive
Dell 3007 WFP-HC 30" monitor
Custom dual radiator waterloop

Couple questions. At 5.1GHz, is the 2600K rock stable (I imagine it is) and what kind of temps do you get? Also, with the GTX 580ti SLI, are you planning on running 3 monitor set up? Either way, how much performance did you get out of those beasts? (mainly gaming graphics frames/sec). I also don't see an SSD, any reason why?

I'm planning a build using the Maximus IV and the 2600K, so i hope you test the sh*T out of it, and post results :) . I'm curious if they are good choices.

The 2600k is running a fraction over 5.1Ghz and from all the tests that I have carried out (Prime95, 3DMark06, Vantage, 11, Unigine Heaven and general gaming) I have yet to encounter any problems.

When you put a pair of 580's under watercooling, you are undoubtedly going to have huge graphics power. I've been able to overclock mine to 1Ghz core on each card. I run a single Dell 3007-WFP 30" monitor @ 2560 x 1600 and have no plans to go multi monitor.

Regarding the SSD. I still don't feel that their price is representative of their performance. If I were to buy one, I'd be looking for something that could take all my games (so we're talking at least a terrabyte). The load times of decent mechanical drives really aren't that bad.
