Ok so over the past 2-3 days alot of websites will take a LONg time before they actual load. for example, even when i start up firefox or IE my homepage is google and it will sit there at a blank screen for up to several minutes before the page will actual load which takes me about 1 second. but from then on anytime i want to seach anything on google it will be perfectly normal and there will be no delay. but then, say i go to youtube, it will take a while before it responds at first but then anything i seem to seach will load at normal speed...

i just looked through services, ran spybot, ran ccleaner, checked my processes etc. i dont see anything out of the ordinary. Also it is important to note that i know i am connected to the internet because everything else on my computer that requires a connection runs like normal. Games, MSN etc. so im rather sumped atm. let me know if you need more info.

What sort of internet connection are you using?

I've been reading up a bit on networking, and learned about a command prompt command that checks your connection to other networks. Open up the command prompt, type in ping, space, and type in the URL of any website.

It'll send 4 "packets" to the youtube network. If they reach youtube, then everythings fine, me thinks. I'm not 100% clear on this, since I haven't read a WHOLE lot on this, lol. If anyone knows anything about this, clear it up please.

You could always contact your ISP.
