web browser link search?

Hi guys;i'm not getting the browser link search in this E-machines intel celeron D in xubuntu 14.04 the same way i get in another pc intel P4 Xubuntu 14.04 also .
see pic there is a black bar in place of the link http/www.
never seen this!

Hi guys although nobody here gave a simple word about this issue i don't keep hard feelings and gonna post the fix for this issue:


Click Edit,Preferences,go to enter about:config in the url bar and find the gfx.xrander.enabled and change the value to false
