Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out which of the web browser is better and faster Internet Explorer or google chrome. Any advise please

Faster is relative. What is your data line rated for? If you are on 1Mb/s or faster, you will not beat chrome easily for speed or ease of use. FF would be close.
If you are on a slower connection, then there is Opera that works quite well. Has a boost feature that aides a little with the slow connections.

Really, you can not go wrong using Chrome, FF, or Opera. Just pick one and go.

Yeah I'd recommend either Chrome or Opera, but FF is just crap these days.

Hmm.. I am going t odownload the newest and try it out to see, but I don't se much difference in speed between FF and Chrome on my laptop under Linux. But I can't guarantee that I have the newest version either.
Will say it is less than user friendly to get FF to do anything though. And the sync process is just rubbish.

Doesn't change the fact IE is crap

I think web browser choice is a bit like OS choice. It's a personal choice and you use what you're used to and what you like. I've been using Chrome for about 2 years now and I like it. Previously I used Opera and Internet Explorer.

Given the choice between IE and Chrome, I'd go for Chrome, but some people wouldn't.

I've used Firefox and Chrome and IE and my vote has to go to Chrome. It's much faster and more fluid, the only downside is it uses much more memory than Firefox and IE on my system.

I prefer Firefox but I use chrome only because Flash is no longer supported to any web browser under linux anymore which means soon the flash plugin firefox is running will be out of date, chrome on the other hand maintains the flash plugin for there browser so always will stay current.

I disagree with that, because I'm still using FF. It might just be that I don't want to switch to a new interface. But I agree with everyone else you can't really go wrong with any of the three.

Well, if it works for you and you don't mind the stuttering, the slowness, and the crashes, that's cool.

I might have to switch to Chrome to try it out, there was a period of 6 months or so where I used chrome and liked it but stopped using it because it was glitchy. Then again that period was during the beta phase so you can't really complain.

stuttering, the slowness, and the crashes
I've never had those problems. Then again the slowness may become more apparent if my download speed was higher than 2560kbps down.

It was pretty apparent when I tried it a few months ago on dialup, Chrome was still a lot more responsive.

Also, yeah, if you last used Chrome during the beta phase then you should definitely check it out today, it's pretty darn awesome.

Chrome is far better than IE. Not only is it the fastest browser, it is also more simple, and it can sync bookmarks and cookies across multiple pcs.

Well I tried out chrome and so far there is one deal breaker and issue I have with it.

First of all I can't even log into vBulletin based forums such as this one. It says its an invalid redirect. But the major deal breaker is the one plugin I rely on most in Firefox Pocket does not have the same functionality of its firefox counterpart, and multiple people are complaining of it so its not just me. I have always liked the customizability of FF.
