thx in advance

you have to study first html and then php or asp with javascript and css...
the you can also write a web page with notepad....
there are also more advanced programs like dreamweaver if you know the languages...
if not you can try with a cms like joomla

I just finished an introductory web design class at school. We used the book Headfirst with Xhtml and CSS and I highly recommend it. This will get you started on the right track.

It's 40 USD but IMO it's well worth it. If your not looking to spend the cash, I'm sure you could teach yourself with wikipedia/google, but it'll be much more difficult.

yeah you need to have an understanding of HTML or XHTML. CSS and JavaScript can also be used well... things like PHP are more advanced, but arent neccesarilly needed to make a decent website.
