I have a web site but am clueless about getting customers to it. Does anyone happen to know any knowledegable person who can attract traffic to it. If so I will discuss payment later.

I believe Google can boost your ranking in the site list by having it be a "sponsored" webpage, but that's only when people search for a term related to your brand.
