Webcam problem

Hi everyone , I have just downloaded the manycam 4 webcam software and it is not working correctly . It comes on for a few seconds then a tab comes up saying that I need to close anything that is using the webcam at the same time . As far as I'm aware there is nothing else !! I am trying to use it with skype, but no luck so far the webcam does'nt work at all with it .Thanks

First did you webcam work before you installed the Manycam software ?

Also what model webcam do you have ?

Yes it was working before I installed it , and it's a medion Akoya laptop .

When I fire up the webcam now its saying"invalid source"

Firstly try simply uninstalling the manycam software, if that does not work go to the support page for your laptop and download and install the webcam driver.
