Greetings Comp forum, I'm bit of a noob seeking an answer in layman's terms for something I've been considering for my place of business. I'd like to use a web cam and record remotely to HD at home or host. I would need it to be active 24-7 though it could be disposed in 48hr intervals and only record on motion. Downside my location limits me to dial up connection.
Start up cost and lack of the basics is the reason it's not already present. I'm looking to avoid a monthly charge in exchange for some elbow grease and helpful guidance. Looking for a webcam setup and simple software program eligible for use over a modem that won't break the bank.
