I am a web server administratior . first things first stay away form hostgator , 1&1 , fatcow , um there are many more anyway these companies I am telling you about all offer unlimited which is not real and is totally fake because nothing is unlimited neither is air trust me.

Anyways those companies also own each other its one company that owns and runs them all known by EIG..

You want to go with a host that is small and that will dedicated their resources to your site. Also if your new to web site building you'll need to know a language to code or atleast know how to use a site builder like rvsitebuilder..

Anyway many hosts these days also have site builder that is included free. You can start a site from as low at $10 monthly and $10 yearly for the .com domain. YOu can register a domain at namecheap.com they have .net , .org and .com and many more..

You may also want to check this other forum out its called webhostingtalk search them up in google and ask any questions there or you can just lurk around.
