Hi, I am looking for the best website designer builder. Whats the best? Can anyone help me out and tell me what to download.

If your looking for a WYSIWYG program.. Dreamweaver is a fine choice (but it's not cheap).


I sometimes use Html Kit but mostly I just use notepad...
 
I would also say Dreamweaver is a great program and is rather easy to use but as mentioned it is not cheap.
 
I vote Dreamweaver. I believe they still have 30 day trial versions...that might help your decision. I really liked Dreamweaver, in comparison to frontpage*gag* back when I had to use it for class. I've used others, but DW was my fav.
 
I do all my web coding by hand using jedit. for those who using notepad I recommend downloading jedit it free. The nice thing about jedit is once you tell it it a html file it will color code all your tags for you. It also can show line numbers which I find helpful.

for manual editing, I use an excellent text editor called PSPad . It is free, colours your text and aligns the lines of documents in a manner that makes the code easy to read.
