Hello Everyone,
I am asking for a friend. He been having this weird issue and couldn't figure out what it is or what could be the cause of it.
He have:
i7 4820k
Asus P9X79 LE
GTX 970
BenQ XL2411Z
When he plays high intense games like:
Warhammer Vermintide
Dragon Nest
Hurt World
Others low requirements games have no issues... like:
Counter Strike GO
ibb & obb (steam game)
So he can be in the middle of the game and then the monitor turns off, the computer is still on and continue talking on skype. After that he is forced to restart his machine. When he restarts his machine, during bios post it beeps. I believe it was a 1 long 3 short, looked it up and it was memory issue. he had this problem with his old graphic + ram and his new graphic + ram. I suspect it is the monitor's issue but the bios post shouldn't beep during restart.
What could be the cause of this or if anyone ever experience this issue before? any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Happy Holidays!
