Weird Desktop Icons

Have you tried repairing your windows installation?
A pain in the ass I know but might be a last resort kinda thing??
 
I hear you on that but I think people on here are running out of ideas :D
How about you delete the user account that its happening in and remake it?

Too damn right, i thought i hadf it with TweakUI rebuild icon cahce, but nope.... Yeh, i mean redoing your account could be an opion, but remeber most/all of you apps wont be there when you get the new account, only a special few that installed for every user. So make a backup of all the setup files etc so you can install them later on. This is of course if you are planning on doing that.
 
You've probably already tried this but im grabbing at straws here..... Go to any folder and click TOOLS then FOLDER OPTIONS. Click the VIEW tab and scroll down to where it has VISUAL STYLES. Make sure "Smooth Edges Of Screen Fonts" is ticked. If its already ticked then untick it and apply thent ick it and apply.

Isn't it a media skin?
You get it with Dell Inspiron 6000, though i doubt he got a dell.
 
Dobnt trash me with dell..... nah its not a dell (thankgod).n Its the windows ROYALE theme on windowblinds, visit wincustomize for it
 
Sorry for getting us off topic, but I got the skin and I love it, so thanks :D

Although I can't see the skin thumbnails on Wincustomize, oh well.

Anyways, thanks, and back to the original issue.
