Weird keyboard and mouse problem

I am using a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, so the problem is, my keyboard doesn't work while I am moving the mouse and sometimes it does, it just switches between the two... I have had my keyboard and mouse for a long time and this is the first time it started to happen. I haven't seen this kind of thing before and am not familiar with it, so any ideas?
While it isn't a large problem when you are just working on your PC but gaming etc... is such a pain
 
Try updating/reinstalling drivers. Also, try the combo at a closer range with the receiver.

And when was the last time you changed your batteries?
 
Good thinking about the drivers. Well the combo is PRETTY close to the receiver and I just got new batteries :)
 
I personally don't care for wireless keyboards. Wireless anything. Just another thing you have to buy consumables for (batteries).
