Weird lag I sometimes get

I'm pretty sure when I get this, it does it in ALL games. also, what's strange is it would even sometimes happen on my old computer playing DOD

I mostly play dod:s/cs:s now when it bugs me.

anyways, here's what happens:
say I walk forward 5 feet, I shoot back 4 feet..walk forward 5, shoot back 4..repeat

the "shoot back" is like every second or so

it's REALLY annoying..any ideas as to why or a fix?

This sounds almost like some network lag... Are you playing online?

Sounds like network lag to me. Check your internet connection?

If it's not online... then I really don't know what to say.

yeah, online games.


it probably is my connection I suppose, seems like the only explanation.

most of the time I don't have this probably though, so it's not that bad.

some servers specifically though, it always happens
