weird memory

Hello guys i have a simple quastion, what kind of memory i have???
it is running at 1600mhz now, and the sticker on the module says also 1600mhz.
but if i look at aida extreme it tells me!! a look at memory speed.

so is it 1600mhz or 1066mhz

If its for your motherboard the p6t then its only supports memory up to 1333mhz without overclocking the ram. Go into the bios and check the timings and voltage of the ram.

edit, it also looks like you have 4 sticks with different timings.

no i have 3 sticks tripple channel.
its just that at that speed i can give it that timmings
its running at the speed what is on the sticker.
1600mhz 7-7-7-24

Look under the motherboard tab at the memory bus and see what it says under Effective Clock. But like johnb35 said. Your board default is 1333. You will need to set the speed/timing and voltage manually for speed above that.

the bord deafault is 1066mhz, when i run load default settings it will run at 1066mhz.
so i manually set it to 1600mhz that is not the problem, it runs at 1600mhz, but why is aida and every other program showing memory speed 1066mhz.

look at memory speed by aida, cpu-z is showing jedec 4 533mhz.

According to cpu z your memory is running at 1600mhz, it says 800mhz in the dram frequency box but thats 1600 mhz because its double data rate.

yes i now the memory is running at 1600mhz, but WHY is aida says that it is 1066mhz memory, also speccy and other programs say it is 1066mhz running at 1600mhz, so that would mean that it is overclock to 1600mhz, but the modul name in aida is saying that it is 1600mhz mem.

In AIDA64 or CPUZ under the SPD tab, doesn't show what its running at. That's why I said look under the motherboard tab at the memory bus and see what it says under Effective Clock. The SPD tab just shows what its preset default setting are. As far as SPD setting, your memory could be 1066 and has had the voltage and speed bumped at the manufacturer to run at 1600. That's really done by a lot of manufacturers. JEDEC conformity, lol.

effective clock now is telling me 1067 mhz.
i saw that when i was running at 1600mhz that the dram vcore was 1.8v, dont now if that is save to run on.

yes and that whont work.
when i run it at 1066mhz it runs on 1.5v, and on 1333mhz it runs on 1.6v, so i leave it on 1333mhz.
oke but then i have another quastion, if i run it with these memory,s at 1066mhz will it work.

Kingston ValueRAM KVR1333D3N9/2G

You mean running 3 sticks of the OCZ and 3 sticks the Kingston at the same time. Yeah, the Kingston will just down clock to 1066. Since they are different timing and voltage you might have to tweak them alittle to get it stable.

I would just set the memory to auto in the bios and boot and see what it boots at. If you want it faster then tweak it from there.

yes 3 sticks ocz en 3 kingston.
yes i now different timing, but if i run the ocz at 1333mhz and leave the freq auto it runs on 9-9-9-24
