Weird Problems

ok so i posted something last week about having weird lines going across my screen when i would try to play games or watch movies but now even if my screen saver (which is the 3d pipes) comes on my computer starts like dying and makesing weird noises and its starting to randomly restart if its inactive for more than 5 minutes... Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

Have you checked your temps?It could be the graphics card also...

umm windows is telling me its my graphics card and it says to manually reduse the settings does anyone know how to do that?

Hi Oblivion, are you still having the same problem as in your other thread or only the PC restarting problem?

its the same problem but now its a restarting issue to i cleaned the fan on my video card but now windows says either download the latest driver or reset your graphics standards to a lower setting (i dont know how to do that)

For a start; Try right-clicking on the desktop then selecting "Properties", then the "Settings" TAB.
What is the current setting shown under the "Screen Resolution" & "Colour Quality" headings?

Try reducing the Screen Resolution to "1024 x 768" or "800 x 600"

i tried to open up properties but then my computer froze and restarted itself
