Weird "Saving files" problem

Hi everyone,

OK I have a weird problem. I downloaded a .rar file from the internet which contained 3.exe files and a .doc file. I went to unrar all files to my desktop. However, the .doc file was unrared correctly, but the .exe files were not unrared to my desktop (and will not unrar to any other part of the hard drive - and also will not unrar to my external hard disk).

Any ideas? are really appreciated as I am just about going nuts at this stage.

probably corrupt

if the file's incomplete, winrar doesn't leave the partial files
