Weirdest thing ever...

Hello people, this might be one of the weirdest/ stupidest things you ever heard. Once while I wasn't quite concious, I created a new folder than created in it 12 other new folder, then in each folder I created 12 other folders, then I repeated this once again. Later on, when I tried to delete them I wasn't able to delete most of them. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it, thanks.

lmao, ive done things like that before, but never quite so stupid. start the computer in safe mode and try deleting them from there

I will try that, i have more to say though: when you're done with the endless time spent clicking on folders, you see 12 folders that look pale, just like hidden folders, you can't delete those folders or access them :S plus, in each folder i was able to delete all the folders except the one that has the number that preceeds that of the folder (e.g: in folder 10 you can delete all the 12 folders except folder 9, and so on, until you reach folder 1 with those hidden-like folders inside it)

Yes, I actually did it myself to hide somethingbut then i deleted the file and I can't delete the folders...

Thanks Lorand and elmarcorulz... Does this program have any side effects or anything? since you said if everything else fails which means it should be my last resort

Side affects??? If you delete something stupidly, then it's your fault:P

It has no side-effects, but there are much easier ways to get rid of files and folders, like DOS-commands in the command prompt window.

dos commands on command prompt? ? surely using this program would be a whole lot easier. i mean selecting a few folders then restarting, seems the easy life to me

Yes, but clicking start/run, typing "command" and enter, then typing "del <filename>", enter, typing "exit" and enter is much much faster. :)

Perhaps but easy is well ... too easy.

And with filename completiton its not that bad at all :)
