Well Established Network Dropping Out

Sorry about that, I have unzipped the files again and installed the new driver OK, I need to give it time now to see what happens. Thanks JohnB35 the invitation is still open to come and live next door in Ireland
 
So far OK, but I thought it was on channel 11 this seems to contradict this as channel 1, If I change this will the PC automatically change?

Name (11G SSID) DAVE

11G Channel 1
Mode Up to 300Mbps at 5GHz & 54Mbps at 2.4GHz
Wireless AP Enabled
Broadcast Name Enabled
 
I have had a couple of weeks now, no more dropping out. Would I gain any advantage by changing from 811g to n ?
