Whaich card should i get

If you look at what I recommended I did recommend the geforce 6600GT if he could afford it. The point is most people on a budget. If he need a card now and only have $100 the radeon 9600pro the best choice.

It was not the fact you reccomend the 6600GT(I agree the 6600GT is a great card) that got me on your case. It was the fanboy comment that Nvidia is a better company then radeon.

Thats not a fanboy comment --- its almost fact. ATi has spent a long time dealing with AA/AF and stuff so you'd expect that -- but you didnt say that. Furthermore you are comparing the entire Radeon line against the entire Geforce (originally nVidia) line --- thats a LOT of cards -- a LOT. To decalre nVidia better "overall" would require a lot of explaination complete with technical commentaries and openmindedness. Also it has a tendency to fly in the face of the fact that ATi is the #1 producer in the world.
