If you are interested in learning some basics, there are a lot of 101 guides at the top of most of the forums that will take you through some of the steps of the different parts of a computer. Oh, and welcome, I hope that you enjoy your stay!
Most sections have some stickied threads that will introduce you to various concepts. If you have questions beyond that (or even on something in it) feel free to make a thread and ask about it.
But good point, any questions you may have, feel free to ask! (If you don't see it covered in one of the guides...)
