i have 50 to 100 to spend on a new gaming keyboard and mouse. i want them both to be wireless and the cheaper the better but still not cheap cheap

i dont think there ae actually wireless gamin mouses and keyboards. (especially keyboards.) the only gaming keyboard i know is the Z-board, and that new logitech one. (with integrated LCD display, for messages)

i like the logitech elite black keyboard for gaming, and i have the mx510, but the mx518 is by far one of the best gaming mice. wireless keyboard/mice arnt as good for gaming.

Untrue. I have a Logitech crodless desktop LX700 set, works like a charm for CS and Doom, no lag whatsoever. (unless you are like 10 feet away from the PC)

how much do all those keyboards and mouses cost and should i get a wireless keyboard and a corded mouse or what should i do

i would say if u want wireless stuff for the sake of saying "i have wireless stuff" and ur gonna put these things in wire range, dont bother with the time or the money. instead, use the money u save by not going wireless and get the mx515 logitech mouse (i have this one....like 55 dollars i think) and look through keyboards to find what u like (personally i recommend and i have the saitek eclipse....like 50-60 dollars i think) but both of these are wired.

if u need wireless b/c u will be sitting too far from the comp or other reaons beyond my imagination at this moment then l recommend you go to the store and FEEL each mouse and think about how each grip contours to your hand (critical to any true gamer :)) and kind of estimate how heavy with batteries. wireless keyboards, look more towards logitech, as they seem to be the leader in this area for now. also look on this link for combo packages, although these would probably be no the best slections for a gamer, but its worth a shot, as most are wireless (mouse and keyboard) here on this page.

good luck and let us know what u decided.

id get a corded one, they are much cheaper, a more variety to pick from, no need to change batteries, usually better quality and faster response times to. And besides, there not a huge difference if your using it at your desk, since you still need to plug the wireless reciever into your comp, and have this box sitting on your desk, and it only save about 1-2 feet of cord.
