what are these 2 things..

ok i have 3 wires that came with my case (dreamer)
2 are stuck together. now i havent got the slightest
idea of what these are....

ok I have these 2 which idk what they are and where to plug em in..


Also I have this which came with case to...


And lastly another view of the thing that came with the case..

that first pic looks like the case usb ports etc..., you need to refer to your mobo manual it find out where they go on the mobo !

the second pic looks like a beeper !! for the BIOS that also goes on the mobo !!
 
The top one is a USB conenctor, refer to your manual to where the USB headers are located. Usually they are on the far left of the mobo. And the last thing is a small speaker which the bios uses to say that the tests pass. You dont need either of them to use your computer, although the USB could be helpful.
 
yea i wanna use the usb ones...
but im still not 100% sure what the other "beeper" thing is..
can some one explain it to me?

and yea i checked the moBo manual and i cant find anyting about that :*(..
maybe i need to recheck..
If any1 has the same m0Bo i have plz help me out...
 
The pc speaker that you show will connect somewhere on the front panel connector where you attatch the power switch and reset button etc. if i remember correctly it goes on the right had side of the connection set
 
When you start up a computer and something is wrong in the hardware region, you will hear beeps to tell you what is wrong. And the beeps come out of that little speaker.
 
the second pic is a beeper thing...
my case i just put together told me to stick it in a hole.
which it did fit. then when you get your mobo, conect the connections in there.
 
have you actually read the manual for your motherboard? i've yet to see one that doesn't spell it out clear as day :)

what you're looking for is a layout of the motherboard, with all the jumper positions and sockets.
usually in the vacinity of that diagram there should be a close up of the front panel connector

spkr relates your little beeper thing, i wouldn't worry if you don't have sled, thats for when your system is in standby
 
so the little beeper thing..(pic 2 and 3) I plug into the one that says speaker correct?

and what about the other 2 cords i mentioned??

Yeah that would go onto the connection you mentioned. the two cords you mention look like usb connections, you're looking for something labelled usb1 usb2 etc. these are also in the manual on the diagram i mentioned to you previously
 
PLZ help I still cant find the damned thing to plug in the usb ones..
i found this, I pluged the extra usb connector to it ( the one that came with the an8 Sli mobo)
BUT..it does not look like something that i would have to plug in those uSb connectors to..

Btw its the blue connectors...the black thing connected there is the usb 1 connectors ( just showing how it looks while being on)

seeing as how usb 1 is the one on top BUT the one on top has 5 teeth
so it doesnt look like it would be the right thing...



Not sure what is to what..any1 with this mobo PLZPLZ help me....

Btw I have read the mobo manual and it did not say anything about the usb ones...

Oh Btw..on the An8 mobo am I suppose to plug in 2 plugs from the Psu?
Because i pluged in the 20pin psu cable but I found somethign that sais *ATX4P1* and it looks like im suppose to plug in the atx power cable in to it..but idk...man i should read the whole owners manual but...."sigh" to much to do..
 
it will help posting bigger images, those are thumbnails. have to try to see if there are any ports to the right under neath where the pci slots are? it might be there. it might be in black. and it has 8 pins 4 in each wrong. might differ from mobos though. usb1,usb2,usb3,usb4,
