what are these files

these two files have shoed up on my windows task manager and have never been there before...there using up almost all my memory and when you go to end task it ends then starts right back up....i really need to find out what these are..thanx

What programs have you installed just before it? An Anti-Virus Program would faf about with he system like that; they like doing that for some perverse reason.

System Restore could sort that out if you can't work out what programs you have installed or if deleting them doesn't do anything.

i've no idea, but: use your explorer to find the location of the file and then you'll see diretories name. maybe that brings you closer to an answer. still, it sounds to
me also like anti-virus software.

uninstall Panda AntiVirus(creates pavfires.exe Avengine.exe) and install some other AntiVirus program
