What are these screws/pins all over my Antec 300 case?

Heads up, my computer lingo is not on par with you guys, so sorry.
I just got an Antec 300 computer case. I would like to completely dismantle it, even though it is just a shell. This includes removing the trays that would hold the cd drive etc. What's stopping me though are these darn pins/screws. Not even sure what they are or how to remove them. Here are some pictures of them though.
This is the head, or top part of it, found all outside of the case:

This is what the inside, or bottom, of them looks like:

Anybody know what these are or how to remove them? Thanks!

Those are rivets in the case. The only way to remove them that I know of is to use a drill and destroy the rivets. In the process of doing that you may ruin the case.

they arent that bad to get out. just drill out slowly, with a nice, sharp drill bit. and be careful. i took my old case apart and replaced all the screws with rivets cause it looks much nicer. rivet guns are like $10 and a 100 pack of rivets is like $5.

Wow, where'd you get that deal from?

Somewhat off topic: Can someone tell me what those little U-shaped indents are on most computer cases? I see them when I take the door off the case, they line the skeleton of the case...

those ushaped things going around are to reduce the vibrations of the case, the big metal piece you slide on is only held on by a few hooks or tabs and it helps to reduce the vibrations coming from your chassis fans and cpu fan.

at least that is what i was told, unless anyone else has an other opinion?
