What Are These Strange Leads

Hi,

I built my pc but I have got some spare connectors that are coming from the front of the pc case and I guess that they are meant to be plugged in somewhere. There is 1 lead that has 7 small ends on, each look like they go onto one of the pins on the mobo- they have some writing on them such as TPA + and -, GND, TPB and VCC, anyone know what they are, what they do and where they go?

Pretty sure thats your Firewire connections for your case plug ins

they are, if you let us know the motherboard, we can tell you where to plug them

Yeah, if you know your exact model number or consult your manual you will know where to plug everything in.

Hi, the motherboard is a ASROCK AM2NF3.

The manual is about as clear as mud..

Yep, definitely firewire, but I've never heard of them being all seperate wires... usually they just make them into one connector. Just look up firewire in your manual and it should show where to connect them, or it should be on the fold out map of your motherboard if it came with one.
