What are trojans? and how to prevent them?

ok, i jsut red about a post of trojan, and if i understand right, they can come in my computer and do stuff? It happened once to us, and w ehad to pay 50!!!
Will disconnecting the line that goes into the modem prevent them from doing such again???

Dude, of course disconnecting from the internet will keep it from happening. Where do you think they come from? The gremlins living inside your computer?
Trojans are a type of program that gets into your computer and either runs spyware or it can sometimes take over your computer as a slave server for files.
 
FBI doesnt care about that crap, unless it happens to them. You should be safe from trojans by getting ADWARE SE, Spybot SD, and Zonealarms(if you dont have a firewall already). You shouldn't have to worry about them too much. Those are free programs BTW. If you want to be even more secure, i would get a router.

Well, i will se about thos program later, right now i am downlaoding stuff.

What is a trojan? two definition u pick which one is in ur situation. No joke.

BTW its not only company but people put virus on the net and somepeople create trojan and virus.
