I have been using FF for some time now and liked it very much. I really like the tool bar it had and options...but recently my system has been crashing so I went to IE...problem fixed... but I'm not crazy about it. What is the best and greatest browser out there?

The best browser is the one that fits your needs. If it has everything you need then use that one.Do not use some The Best Browser just because many people like it lol.Just use The One that is good to You.The hell with others lol.

By the way...uploading videos on YouTube takes a lot shorter on IE then on the Mozilla Firefox.Maybe its just me who knows =)

I thought Chrome was very fast. Old habits die hard so I mostly use IE.

YEA!!!IE ROCKS =D
I use IE 6.0 and only the IE 6.0 still and manage to see ALL the web sites perfectly.True it blocks here and there, but VERY rarely.Besides...uploading with IE 6.0 takes so short for the difference of the Mozilla Firefox for example.

Agreed. I use IE8, though.

Wow somebody ACTUALLY agree with me that the IE is good. Finally :D lol

I used FF in my rebelious years. But I learned IE has a bigger malware data base, blah blah blah.

I remember those stupid Acid 3 tests my friends use to use to try to convince me that FF was better lolz

But yeah, I have no problems with IE. Uses just as many resources as FF did. Pages actually seem to conform better with IE.

IE is crap, Hum. You all are on the fanboy train. I saw a flying donkey yesterday.

I'm not jumping on the "fanboy train" I started using FF when I used Ubuntu for a couple of months and got into the habit of how the thing worked and all the little add-ons. I swapped to chrome after firefox started to crash repeatedly. I still use IE occasionally, but only to check cross browser compatibility and such for Uni projects

True.IE is a great browser. All you need is the good antivirus software such as McAfee 8.5.0 to be turned on while you are surfing and you do NOT need to worry about the viruses no matter HOW MUCH the IE is a big entrance for any type of the viruses.I personally use IE 6.0 with the McAfee 8.5.0 turned ON all the time and have been to MANY MANY MANY bad WEB sites and a virus never came in.So it all depends on your antivirus software because THAT IS what is protecting you from the viruses and their entrancing into your browser and NOT the browser itself.Of course you must adjust all the options in your antivirus software properly and update it otherwise its like you dont have it lol.

Cheers!

Well I'm trying Chrome and I got to say it is crazy fast. It open windows full so I don't need Windows Maximizer. So far I like it. It is clean and simple. My wife likes the outside temperature displayed in the browser like ff. Does anyone know if this is possible with Chrome?

Heck, I don't even use anti-virus nor anti-malware. I just do a clean install each time I get a virus. Which is basically never. Been over a year, really ever since I switched to IE8. But that could be purely coincidental, no way to prove that I guess haha

There are a number of extensions you can get for Chrome, find them here, just enter what you want into the search box.
