What can I use for a display for my Wii?

I finally gave in and bought a Wii and Super Mario Galaxy yesterday. Right now it's hooked up to a friend's tube TV but it can't stay there. I notice it has options for a 16:9 aspect ratio and HD resolutions.

I don't want to buy an HDTV. Can I hook a Wii up to a monitor? Is there some kind of adapter for the video out on the Wii (to a DVI in, maybe)?

I've seen similar adapters for Xbox and PS3 at stores but I haven't seen one for a Wii, so I don't know if one exists or what.
 
ye i wondered about connecting my wii up to my monitor when building my comp, unfortunately no they don't sell any DVI ones, so it would only really work if ur monitor has s-video, component or composite inputs.
 
That's confusing. The Wii's display options allow you to select HD resolutions. Does component support HD? I know S-video and composite don't.
