What can I use my 100W power supply for?

From Socket 754 and early P4 boards up don't count on it! For one the old case there is to antiquated for what you are planning and maybe an AT not even ATX standard case to start off with. The "bare minimum" generally seen for most 754s and up is 350w to run a basic build. The old I486 cases ran something like a 198w to 250w model supply.

Go with a new case to start off with and choose a good stable make with a 350w-450w power range and 20+4pin main power connector and the new four wire molex type plug for the required 12v cpu feed now required. The revised Antec True Power II 430w model with the 20+4pin main connector wasn't seen when the previous 20pin model here was replaced with the TP II 480w model. But this was the only seen for under $50 worth bothering with. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103928

Oh, thanks but it needs to be a micro ATX psu.

Micro atx cases generally still use a standard atx supply as a rule. For a look at the "good" and "bad" lists compiled on various makes and model supplies,
