I will be upgrading sometime. But here is what I have now.
amd P320 antholon ii x2 2.1ghz
ATI HD 4250(1405mb hyper memory)
3gb DDR3
I want to get a shooter, racing, role play, adventure & horror game.I got silent hill:homecoming.Since it played good on my old laptop,I more then sure it will work on my new one.My old one has a intel T2330 1.6ghz dual c,intel 950 chipset,1gb ram.

Which of these should I get when I upgrade the cpu?
AMD Phenom™ II triple-core mobile processor N830 (1.5 MB L2 cache, 2.10 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB, 35 W)
AMD Turion™ II dual-core mobile processor P520/N530 (2 MB L2 cache, 2.30/2.50 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, 25/35 W)

When I get more ram, going to max it to 8gb.What would you suggest to get?

Laptops usually aren't upgradable aside from HDD and RAM. Whatever CPU you want to [try] and upgrade to be sure it's supported.

I read the 300 page manual. Those are the best supported cpus.Has two ram slots & soupports up to 8 gb DDR3 1333.Doesn't say pc3 10600 or 10666,so im guessing either one.

Why are some games 32 bit only? That really fn blows & is stupid.Silent hill & silent hill:homecoming is in that list. Why oh why of all games!Lol.I figured most games are now for both, but I guessed wrong.A friend of mine gave me his condemed:criminal origins game to calm me down lol.
I am guessing their might be patches out their to make them work for either if their only 32 or 64.I am new to pc gaming.
