What can we expect from the New AMD Units this year?

So I have been trying my hardest to put off building a new machine, and it has been hard to do so. And I was considering going for the 2500k and a GTX 560, but I decided against it. Last night I was thinking about it and I really don't know anything about the new AMD units. For someone who is looking to build a budget gaming system is it worth the wait? I heard bulldozer was supposed to be 4-8 cores. That leads me to believe they will be labeled as Phenom processors.

Could somebody fill me in on what is going on with AMD? Should I wait to build something new or just build that new system now?

For those who were wondering I was thinking of an Athlon II 620/640, 5670/5750/GTS450, 4GB RAM, etc.

The longer you wait to build your dream machine, the cheaper the parts are that you originally wanted. That's the way I see it. It's always cheaper to wait. Of course, not if you're waiting for the Bulldozer, and then buy it immediately.
