What computer do I need

Hi.
I bought this computer about 2-3 years back. Here are its specs:-

Windows 7 Home Basic
Service Pack 1

Lenovo Win7 PC

Experience Index: 3.9

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 380 @253GHz 253GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 2.00GB (1.87 GB usable)
System type: 64 bit OS.

When I bought this laptop (yeah laptop) I didn't consider anything much. But now I want to use it for programming and average-ish gaming purposes. Its not a good computer for this purpose. Now, can someone tell me what I should upgrade? Its a Lenovo G560 laptop. So please tell me what to upgrade and how to do it (sorry I'm not that good with hardware). It would be better if I could just upgrade the computer instead of buying one.

Regards,
Ablaze.

About the only things you can upgrade in laptops is the hard drive and memory. They aren't really upgradeable like desktops are. What games are you wanting to play? The laptop won't work for anything demanding.

I just wanna play Minecraft. But I'm staff on a server, so I need to record hackers. Basically, using fraps while playing Minecraft brings my fps down from 50-60 to 5-6. I don't want that.
Secondly, I'm a Java programmer. So I use eclipse to make these things called "Bukkit plugins." Basically, another clash happens. I keep eclipse on, then to test the plugin, I switch on Minecraft. Slow performance. Then I switch on a server to test the plugin (plugins run on server side, client - Minecraft - connects to the server). This consumes more ram. So skype, Minecraft, eclipse and a server all together make my computer super slow. So I want to have better performance. Thats all.
