What Type of computer should i buy? because i obviously do not know what im doing. I'm a noob

i have like 16 gigabytes of music on my old computer so i want space

i need space for movies too because i make a lot of movies with windows movie maker

i also would like really good High definition graphics...

on my old computer i played a lot of games but most of them would freeze because i guess (from what the dude at "best buy" said) I need a lot of memory

he said at least 4 gigabytes bytes would do the trick! But i want to be able to play games like Call of Duty 4 or Fallout 3 or company of heroes which my old one could not,

i want to be able to connect my camcorder, and my Nikon Photo Camera too

I want a fast running Computer that wont slow me down and a computer that i can play movies in HD

If anyone can please help me!!! Computers are so confusing to me!!!!

I have 1,300 dollars to spend.

please let me know if im being too picky and is there even a computer like this that is right for me?????

You can't really trust the people at BB and stuff anymore. Sure 4GB+ ram is cool to have, but it really isn't "needed".
Many games and such don't utilize all of it anyway.
But give me a short while and I'll throw an example build together for ya, and I'm sure it will get criticized.

thank you so much!!! im just so confused i went on dell.com and tryed to build one and it was like another language to me....with all the graphics cards a processors....

Would recommend atleast a 750GB hard drive. You could upgrade later if need be. here or here.
Those sites will pretty much be your friend lol
And you can take your pick of the processor, AMD Phenom II or Intel i7.
AMD Phenom II 955: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103674
DDR3 1333 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231179 (can get 2 sets if you want to)
If you go AMD, I'd recommend going after ATi graphix, like a 4870 x2 or a couple 4890's in crossfire. 4870 1GB Should be great in crossfire: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150394
AMD motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128377
If you go Intel, I'd go with atleast an nVidia GTX 275.
Intel i7 920: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115202
Intel Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186163
DDR3 RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...052345114&Description=ddr3&name=6GB (3 x 2GB) (Take your pick)
Graphics GTX275: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...on=gtx275&name=Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
Watch out with AMD Phenom's though! The 920 and 940 use DDR2 while the 955 uses DDR3

Above is just a sample of what you need. Not really the GREATEST! and not the worst.
Hopefully you can grasp what you need exactly and try and build one yourself and post it.
If you would like us to customize one for you that is prebuilt (through Dell or HP), let us know.
All of us here will be glad to help perfect your build :)

i didnt know it would be so complicated. i just thought somebody would come up with a certain computer and then i would go buy it. i didnt know it came in peices that have to be assembled by me or a computer company...theres no generic computer that has everything i want on it?
