pretty much what the title is :P i dont really wanna spend more then 150$ on it and im gonna be useing this computer for bf2 and cs:s and dod and some other games....im thinking of maybe possibly getting WoW also...so any suggestions? also it would be cool if u could throw up a link to the cpu maybe on like newegg or something

k :D i usualy build computers around the processor so i fond the proscessor then the mother board then memory and everything else cuz the only thing that you really need to make sure with a motherboard is that the processor fits >.<

the motherboard is decent and so is the proc, might wanna upgrade to the dual core one,it'll last a little longer.

Yeah, Newegg currently has the AMD 64 X2 4200+ on sale for $185 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103747

It pushes your budget a bit, but will keep your system viable for quite a while.

Also, the x2 3800+ is availabelf or $151 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103735

Obviously not quite as fsat as the other, but still pretty good.

so wait i have a question...and its kinda stupid....does dual core mean that u put 2 proc's in or does the one proc chip have 2 cores in it.....

Dual core means one processor with 2 cores...looks exactly the same as single core from the outsice

Dual processors means 2 processor on one board

It's not a special motherboard, cause dual core isnt that special anymore. Just make sure you get the socket and chipset correct on the motherboard, especially for C2D, as not all LGA775 motherboards can handle it.
