For your purposes and tech level, I'd say I agree and disagree with most people in this thread. The Inspiron 537 or whatever it is (the second one lol) Would be more than enough for what you want. You don't need a dedicated GPU, and while the Q8200 is much better, you probably won't notice a difference and it would more or less go to waste as nothing you do is CPU intensive, and while that case is every techie's nightmare, I doubt you'll ever even think about cracking it open to pick at the parts. I do however, think you should scope out the other sites mentioned (iBuypower etc.) as they do offer much better parts at much fairer prices. Either way, a low end system will suit your needs just fine.
