What device connects my PC to the internet?

I think I need to purchase something to get my old dinosaur PC able to go on the internet...I have a router set up with a WiFi connection but it says theres no devices installed on my PC that can access the WiFi....was it a usb card or something that catches the WiFi? I don't know these things...can I has link?

you need a wireless receiver, either a permenant wireless card or better still a usb wireless dongle like belkin etc

I personally like the internal ones better but if you are not comfortable with installing it (it isn't hard) then i would get the USB.

If you have an old computer, make sure it is USB2 to connect to the internet
