What do I need for wireless internet in my home?

Hi -

I am about to buy an HP Pavilion laptop.

I have a desktop PC, with a cable modem internet connection.

But, since I would like to sit back on my bed, and surf the web, with the new laptop, I need a wireless internet connection.

So, I obviously need a router. Well, I don't know which router to choose. I am shopping through CircuitCity.com (only will shop there, because of a business reason)

I am not sure what to get for my laptop.

Also, the laptop I bought only has express slots on it.

The linksys routers work very well. You can get a mid range priced one, i have the lower end one and im about 50 ft and up a story from the router and i get signal fine. So you should be ok with that one. Also most laptops come with built in wifi now, so you shouldnt need a wireless card. But check to make sure.
