We have an AT&T U-verse 802.11 b/g router. It's at the very north end of the house. We can get a decent signal half-way through the house, but at the south end...nothing.
I don't know what kind of device is needed to improve the signal so it makes it all the way to the other end of the house. I'm looking to get a laptop in the next month or so and my bedroom is at the farthest south end of the house. It's a one-story house with a basement, but no concern for using wireless in the basement for quite some time since it's unfurnished.
Repeater? Range booster? Access point?? I don't know what kind of wireless device to purchase. Brand/model not needed unless you have a suggestion. Just a home network, not business, so nothing super-expensive.
Thanks so much!!
