i want to get a good game that will last me this holidays (2 weeks)
i just got a new laptop

and yeah no ideas on what game

was thinking of elder scrolls but dunno if the comp will be able to handle it

anything forthcoming would be good
 
It should handle Oblivion.

I would go for Medieval II: Total War.

I played Rome: Total War. I didn't get to finish because there was an error when I loaded the saved file(about half way done with the game I think- Scenario) and it did it again around the same time. It was really fun until the saved file corrupted.

Other thoughts: I did save a lot of times during when I expect risky battles that would cost my General that I would need to control a province.
