ohh thanks for the thought...

btw i was wondering if i would be able to use a geforce4 ti 4200 128 mb on a skt 775 mobo... i'm only seeing mobos with 8x agp...i'm just wondering if my card would work on the newer skt's?

i'm planning on using this card for atleast 6 more months before purchasing a newer more effecient one...

I am almost sure that all 8x agp slots are backward compatiable with 4X video cards. Just make sure to get a skt 775 with a agp slot not pci-e. there should be plenty of skt 775 with agp available.

Your case is making up 1/8 of your budget. Maybe you could consider a BIT cheaper one? I bet you can get a basic case for no more than 10 dollars.

1. Interesting that the case was the first thing on the list
2. Neither of those CPUs are all that great, a NorthwoodC or [proper] Prescott is better

It'll work :)

also would it fit?
It would prolly fit in the case but the mobo wont support the processor
