what do you think of the AMD athlon 3500+ 64

Can you tell me what you think of the AMD athlon 3500+ 64 as my processor is gone and the computer shop is putting a 3500+ 64 in there.

It is a nice processor. It should be fine for a while until more games are dual core compatible.

I don't think you notice much of a difference between your 3200+ and the 3500+.

by the numbers its better than the 3200 but like they said you probably wont notice a difference.

The computer shop is only charging me £80 to buy it and fit it so its pretty good.

Just to let you know i got my pc back and i do notice a difference with the new processor, its great.

I would not pay that much ($100 USD) for that.

I would save up a bit more and get a nicer processor, such as the AMD X2 series.

Well, i can tell you its ALOT better then my P4. But then again, my P4 is pretty old.......But it still is pretty fast OCed at 3.2ghz/160mhz fsb.
