Change XP home to XP Pro and I'd say it's pretty sweet. I'd bump up the RAM to 1GB and the HD up to the 60GB 7200rpm drive too but that's just me being power hungry I went to the site and bumped it all up pretty high and it was still under $3000, not bad.

It's also good because Microsoft is in the process of developing Windows XP 64-bit edition. You'll be all set for it. And there are already 64-bit Linux distros.
