This is my setup. This is the first computer i plan to build and want to make sure its all compatible and in good order. If there are any tweaks you have please tell me. I want to make this a good computer and stay around $500. Right now its around $445.

what about case, power supply, operating system.

also, that video card is pretty low end, but if you are nto gaming it will be great

What video card do you prefer then
 
idk if you will be able to find anything i your price range, but a 9600GT would be the lowest i would go.
 
Ok yes I think the antec case would be a great idea and as far as a psu i'd go corsair because ive seen them run and there outstanding and for the graphics card id go a high 8 series card or a 9600 because all the other cards in the 9 series are low end and wont perform all that well but you could always go ati........
