A good build. :D Just a few things.

Firstly, do you need a 3770K? If this is just for gaming then forget the 3770K and go for an i5 3570K (it performs about the same in games), but if this is for video editing and/or heavy/intensive CPU tasks, then yeah stick with the 3770K. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504

OCZ make fairly good power supplies, but they're not the best. I'd go for a Corsair HX750 if you still want a modular power supply. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010 don't think the OCZ units are bad, the Corsair ones are just usually a bit better. ;)

How much RAM are you going for and what speed does it run at? You want this ideally http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

I'd also change the SSD and get either a Corsair Force 3 or a Crucial M4. The m4 is the faster drive, and get 128GB. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233220 (that;s 180GB) or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148442

Other than those things it's all good!

I suppose I don't really need an i7, but on the other hand i dont really need that video card either ;) What's your opinion on that?

Well the GTX 680 is usually cheaper than a 7970 and it is definitely faster - the 680 is the fastest graphics card in the world. It may be overkill for you, but if you can afford it, pick up a 680. If you want to spend less, you can always look into a Radeon 7950 or GTX 670, those are two very good cards and will max any game out there really.

I can get the 7970 for $509, or the 680 for around $679.

I completely agree. The i5 will do you just fine. It's just as good as the i7 when it comes to gaming.
