What Do You Think...

Hey. I'm building a small media center for my family and I've got a question for ya'll. I'm trying to keep the cost of the small things down (AKA case;) ) and I stumbled across this case:

Rosewill R7229K

If you notice, on the side it has 2 venting slots and one is occupied by the air duct:

I was just making sure, but do you guys think that I could put some more fans on there? I know I could fit some 80's but I might be pushing it with 120's. I might get a case like this for my next computer too, just because my friend has Rosewill cases and they are well built cases and remarkably cheap:D

I just wanted to ask ya'll if that was possible, adding the additional fans to the side. Pretty sure I might get a case just like this for my next rig and just put a ton of fans on it to make sure my baby runs icy cool:cool:

Thats a very nice case.. plus it supports 120mm fans, so it will be quiet as well. Don't want it to be noisy if it's going to be a media center.

120mm fans are quiet and move lots of air. 80mm fans are a bit too noisy and may become annoying. Looks like its a perfect case to add a blow hole on the top of the case as well.

So, are you saying that I could put a set of 120's/80's on the side?

It looks like it from the pic, and if you read the reviews the guy said he put a 120 in it so. . .

I'm pretty sure that I will be able to mount 2 120mm fans on the side...

I think the only problem that I will have is that maybe the fan will only be using 7/8 of it's full intake because some of the case might be block the top or bottom, depending on how I set it up

nice case.. I am probably going to buy one now an see what I can do to it.. probably put a clear window on the side with 1 120, and 2 120s on top with a window up there also.

Hey, before you try and put a clear window on it, tell me if you are able to mount an 80,, fan or a 120mm fan!

PM once your done with the mod, thanks bro!

Haha they make 92's?

Anyways, I want ya'll to choose a case for me. Here are the cases that I have chosen from Newegg that are under 50 bucks. I'm only spending 50 bucks because I want to go and splurg on a really good PSU. Besides, I'm limited to $1,300 so if I can compromise on a case I will. Just add some fans and you have a $100+ case :). The ones that I am about to list have "grills" or "vents" on the side where I plan on mounting 80s, 120s, or 92s as Praetor has pointed out:D

Personally in response to i.Angel I would take the Rosewill R7229 as it has space for twin side fans, has a nice blue LED on the front and overall looks the best.

OK, let me give you guys another twist.

After looking at cases for hours and school and even more at home, I decided that I do need a better case... but I'm not sure...

What is the best combination of a case and PSU? I have to keep it under 200, and under 150-160 would be even better! Thanks!
