Hello!

well, i was wondering, is it better to build your own PC, or to buy one, and upgrade it?
Cause look......i can buy a nice HP for about 700$, i ad a new videocard, of about 200$, and its a good PC right? But if i built my wn, then i would need to get everyparts, which will come up to what, 1000$ ? PLus all the headaches you got!

Well, just tell me what do you think.

I bought my Compaq just for the easy and a legal version of windows :P Plus I got a good deal with a rebate and all... Really, it's what you want, and if you enjoy bulding and have time to tinker. Me, I didn't have time to mess with my old computer :-/ And top of the line stuff usally isn't what you get with prebuilt stuff(slower RAM, HDs, etc etc...)
 
Well post the comptuer specs that you could get at HP and we'll show you the difference between making and building one.
 
Well, what about the computer i have now. My sister will probably get married soon, and i will beg her to give her Pc to me! :P

it sounds like a good idea BUT besure you can upgrade. get the users manule for the comp on thier website add see what you can and cannot upgrade.

Well, i live in Canada...and it seems that computer parts are more expensive.....So building a new one?

But what do you guys think that i should upgrade next after my video card (5500 OC 256MB) ? more ram?
