What Do You Use?

Hello all,

I was just curious, I have been one for keeping tadition and sticking with the applications I have always used for security on my home computer. Although now after finally getting my home machine up and running again (it's been offline for months due to hardware issues) I'm thinking about changing the tradition. I'm just wondering what everyone here uses for the following:

1.) Anti Virus =
2.) Firewall =
3.) Spyware & Malware Protection =
4.) Registry Cleaning/Maintaining =

What other applications / security measures do people run? (It's been a while since I've used Windows, always usually on Linux you see, so I have no idea what applications are most popular due to them being the better choice or not with Windows anymore).

1.) Anti Virus = Avast! Antivirus
2.) Firewall = nVidia Firewall
3.) Spyware & Malware Protection = Spybot
4.) Registry Cleaning/Maintaining = CCleaner

Anti Virus=AVG
Firewall=Zonealarm Pro Suite
Spyware=Zonealarm Pro Suite & Adaware SE & Spybot
Registry Cleaning/Maintaining=None at the moment.

1.) Anti Virus = Nod32
2.) Firewall = Windows XP Firewall
3.) Spyware & Malware Protection = Webroot Spysweeper
4.) Registry Cleaning/Maintaining = no one

1.) Anti Virus = symantec corp 2005
2.) Firewall = zone alarm pro
3.) Spyware & Malware Protection = windows defender beta 2 (previously giant antispyware)/spybot s&d (use both about once a month)
4.) Registry Cleaning/Maintaining = ccleaner (use less than once a year)

Anti-virus = Anti-Vir (highly recommend)
Firewall = ZoneAlarm
Sypware/Malware = Spybot AND Ad-Aware
Registry cleaning = EZCleaner, if I need to... (used it once or twice...)

1.) Anti Virus = one computer has norton and one has pchillin
2.) Firewall = just windows at this point turned zone off took too much speed away
3.) Spyware & Malware Protection = adaware spybot and ccleaner
4.) Registry Cleaning/Maintaining = tweak now

1.) Anti Virus = AVG Free
2.) Firewall = ZoneAlarm(bah...)
3.) Spyware & Malware Protection = Adaware and Spybot
4.) Registry Cleaning/Maintaining = CCleaner

Antivirus= AVG

Firewall=XP and comodo

Spyware=adaware, spybot,windows defender,ewido and spyware terminator

registry cleaning=ccleaner

Antivirus=Norton2005

Firewall=Norton

Spyware=ewido, spyware terminator, superantispyware, spywareblaster, pestpatrol

registry cleaning=ccleaner, regcleaner

1.) Anti Virus = Computer Associates
2.) Firewall = Computer Associates
3.) Spyware & Malware Protection = Computer Associates and Ad-Aware SE Plus
4.) Registry Cleaning/Maintaining = CCleaner and RegCleaner

For me I use ZoneAlarm Security Suite.

I think it's a great program. It's basically Antivirus, Spyware, and Firewall all rolled up into just one program instead of several. It even has parental controls, email security, and Instant messaging protection.

As for the registry, I have Winaso reg. optimizer and defrag.

I'm surprised that so many of you use Zone Alarm for firewall protection what with Kerio and Sygate (even their free versions are amazing for the fact that they're free in comparison to what you get for that).

Thanks for all the replies so far :)

1.) Anti Virus = Mcafee Enterprise Edition
2.) Firewall = Mcafee Enterprise Edition
3.) Spyware & Malware Protection = Ad-Aware SE & Spy Bot
4.) Registry Cleaning/Maintaining = CC Clean

1.) Antivirus= avast! free edition
2.) Firewall= none at all(just turned on windows firewall)
3.) Spyware/malware protection=Ad-aware
4.)Registry cleaning/maintaining= ccleaner

Result= still need better protection

The only reason i use the Computer Associates full version which is basicly the same as zone alarm is cause i got it free with our ISP. Otherwise i would be using avg and windows firewall cause they are free.
