I was chatting with someone on an auto forum who offered to burn me a navigation disc for my car if i sent him a dual layer disc , he then wrote back asking if I would rather have the ISO so I could do it myself. I dont have a clue what this means, could someone help

Thanks, Deano

ISO is an image file. What you would need to do would be to download the ISO a day then use software that will write the image to a dvd.

ISO actually stands for "International Organization for Standardization" but as John said, in this case it refers to an image file that contains an image of a disk. The ISO developed the standard for the image file so that the images could be read by any software that adheres to the ISO standard.

Burning an ISO file onto a CD is easy as burning a CD. All you need is a free software. We will guide you step by step if you want.
